  • Centenary edition packaging design for a single malt whisky. The project revolved around the importance of the number 100 in the whisky industry: a 100 year old distillery, a single malt aged for 100K hours, bottled at 100 proof in 1 litre (100cl) bottles.

I like the layout of the text and the simplicity of the typography because it really allows the number to be the main focus. I'm not always fond of flush right text, but I think it works in this case. If the text were flush left there would be some awkward space on the left side of the package.

They also make it easy for customers to see when another flavor has been added – just look for a new number.

  • DD/MM/YY Organic Tequila - The Dieline - was conceived with the european market in mind but it´s  name couldn't be protected so for some reason, we wanted to use a number that was representative of history, the process itself or a date that marked this distill´s story. In searching for it, we asked ourselves, why use only one date when we can use them all? And thus we decided to name the product after the universal dating format: DD/MM/YY.
