• New cup texture on the acorns. Found a smaller version of the Sophie stamp which allows me to get a tighter radius. Still need to make some adjustments. I know I said no more acorn pics for a while but this is a solution to a problem that I've been thinking about for a long time. The squirrels are in lunatic mode this time of year...makes me think of acorns. The stem is just a temporary one. Back to bowls.
  • My daughter, Emily , is now in charge of the shipping department. If you don't see your box here, don't worry, it went out the other day with the first batch. Back to acorns...
  • ** Some of you have seen this... it was deleted by accident ** Probably as close as I'll ever get to having a bluebird on my shoulder. This little nuthatch was rescued from one of our cats over the weekend. Unfortunately he didn't survive his injuries. The hair is courtesy of five hours spent cleaning and salting sidewalks. nuthatch

  • Funky pair of shades by . He fabricates the frames from broken skateboard decks. I need a pair with my prescription lenses. Maybe a different style. Maybe not.
  • Emily ( ) has finished taking the dimensions and images. Will be listing the acorns this evening at 6:30 pm EST (11-25-17).
  • Emi's back to normal hanging out in the studio taking pics of everything. Here's one of me applying slip to a bowl. In honor of the Summer Solstice (Winter Solstice in the southern hemisphere) I'm giving away this blue spawn and rock texture mug which slumped slightly in the firing. I will choose a winner tomorrow (Friday, June 15th at 6 pm EDT) so I can get it shipped in time for you to use on the first day of Summer! As always I'll ship to anywhere on the planet. All you need to do is simply like this post and my daughters will choose a random winner. Thank you for all your support and good luck to all.
  • Sophia and frog. She still loves all the pond critters. Photo by , sunglasses by and the frog is just a gift from God. A hot one today...sloth mode is strong. Making more mugs.

  • My daughter, Emi, has just listed some of her trays and spoons in my shop. The link is in my profile. Please take a look.
  • Emi seems to always have her camera out. I usually don't see most of her images. Here are some of me texturing one of the acorns. They're now in the bisque kiln happily firing away. Throwing vases today.

  • Emi had her camera in the studio yesterday while I was doing handles. In the first image, I've made the handle lug and am looking for a mistake to cover up with the attachment. The second is the slipping and scoring. Third is attaching the lug. Fourth is how I'd show my classes that we have a good join. Fifth is the attached lug. Sixth is pulling the lug hopefully into a nice shape. Seventh is finished.
