  • My makers mark  ~ I prefer a subtle mark towards the bottom of the piece, then hopefully my finished work can do all the talking for me
  • Just sitting back for a sec and appreciating what pottery looks like after a bisque firing (when the pottery has been fired once and before you then decorate with glazes) - I love the subtle pink hues that comes from my white clays, sometimes I wish the colours could stay that way through the second firing.

Also more of some of the good ol favourites, plus variations! ..This firing is a bit of an experimental one. Refining some ideas and trying out a few others.

  • Ive been working on a few new mug and handle shapes, I always love the creative process of trying new things. My work is always changing and evolving... Id get bored if I just reproduced the exact same thing all the time... and anyway, thats not what my small batch pottery practice is about! ..In saying that, if you see something you like from the past  Im sure I can make it again for you!
  • A large West Coast bowl. Perfect for hearty winter meals and summer salads
  •  Hugable bisqueware..- sometimes I wish I could keep them this way .Bisqueware is the the stage between the two firings  the pottery is turned from clay into ceramic but is still brittle and very fragile. After its decorated with glaze then fired again you get the finished product.
  • A recently commissioned Seaglass handleless jug - I love making these! Especially in Seaglass, makes it seem that much more elegant
